Driveway, Front Entry Walkway and Landscaping

landscaped front yard LandWorks recently completed a hardscaping and landscaping project for customers who were referred by friends who were longtime LandWorks customers. They called as the construction of their new home was being completed, and wanted to get our team involved with designing the driveway approach, the front entry walkway, and all of the plantings in the front yard.

LandWorks designed a comprehensive plan for the entire project, and went about installing everything over the course of three months. The architecture of the home was unique and special. For the front yard our aim was to draw attention to the beautiful home, and not take attention away with a distracting landscape. We wanted our clients' visitors to feel welcomed as they approached the home.

The client chose Pennsylvania flagstone for the walkway material because of the way the color complemented the color of the home. For durability, the stones were installed over a reinforced concrete base. The plantings were chosen to give four seasons of interest and are not favorites of deer.
